METLOCK GmbH was founded in 2011. The impetus for the founding of the company was the increasing interest of private customers in strategic raw materials as a physical asset and the lack of professional and secure storage options for these physical assets. Today, our bunker’s secure storage is used mainly by industrial customers.

At the heart of the facility is a bunker from World War II. Between 2011 and 2013, it was extensively renovated to bank-level security standards. In 2023, the bunker was expanded with a high-security warehouse featuring a secure access airlock.
